Our Story

Happimate was created to offer another way. The idea began with a belief that support should be available earlier, in everyday life, not only at breaking point. A calming conversation, a guided meditation, a visualisation, or a soothing story at the right moment can help someone feel more grounded, more comforted and less alone. Meditation and visualisation are powerful tools, not because they promise perfection, but because they can gently shift how a person feels in the moment. They can create pause, perspective and calm. Used consistently, they can help prevent difficult situations from becoming worse.

Founder's Note

I started Happimate because I have always disliked one-size-fits-all support. What helps one person feel calm, comforted or understood may not help someone else at all. Support should feel personal, shaped around the individual and the reality of their life. That belief sits at the heart of Happimate. From conversation to meditation to relaxing stories, the aim is to create experiences that feel less generic and more like they truly belong to you. Not someone else’s path to calm, but your own. At the centre of it is a wellness friend you can shape your way, someone you can chat with or call, who supports you without judgment and connects with your wider wellbeing experience. My hope is that Happimate feels like more than an app, that it becomes your space, your companion, and a comforting part of everyday life.
